ACPI hires new portfolio manager for UCITS fund

ACPI has appointed Alia Yousuf as an executive director and portfolio manager for the ACPI Emerging Markets Fixed Income UCITS Fund.

Yousuf has joined ACPI from Standard Chartered Bank’s asset management arm Standard Asset Management where she ran their Emerging Market Fixed Income Fund. In her new role at ACPI, Yousuf will be responsible for the ACPI Emerging Markets Fixed Income Fund. She will be reporting to Steve O’Hanlon ACPI’s Head of Fixed Income.

Yousuf has extensive experience in emerging markets fixed income having joined Standard Bank in 2006 and before then was at First State Investments where she also ran their emerging markets fixed income fund. She has also held positions at Fisher, Francis, Trees and Watts and the World Bank.
